The original Tudor manor house, with its vaulted great hall and Queen Elizabeth 1 chamber, forms the core of this magnificent country hotel. The hotel's handsomely furnished interior combines luxury with period elegance. Each of the hotel's 30 spacious, individually styled suites and rooms enjoys its own unique ambience, furnishings and decorative flourishes. The cuisine is superb and there is ample provision for banquets and conferences. Tending to use mostly British produce, Richard Turner's ingredients are sometimes organic, sometimes wild and assembled using classic French techniques with simple execution.
