Small Luxury Hotel of The World

Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, on the outskirts of the picturesque village, Upper Slaughter stands the Lords of the Manor Hotel. Nearby are Warwick Castle and Bath. The 17th century country manor house enjoys splendid views over the surrounding eight acres of gardens, meadows, streams and parkland. Charming, walled gardens provide a secluded retreat at the rear of the house. Each of the 27 en suites is individually imaginatively decorated. Private fishing and Croquet are accessible. The heart of this English country house is its dining room, where truly memorable dishes are created from the best local ingredients. The luxuriously appointed restaurant, The Dining room, offers a cuisine that combines modern British and classical French styles in some impressive, well-judged cooking from rising star John Campbell that is supplemented by an excellent wine list and knowledgeable sommelier. Vegetarian meals are available.
