One of the Arcadian Hotel group, Chilston Park is partly an antique-filled
country house and partly modern set in the Kent countryside near Maidstone
and not far from London. Steeped in history, and idyllically set in 250
acres of parkland, gardens and lakes this Grade I mansion has been lovingly
restored to its original 17th Century splendour. Chilston has a truly
magical and relaxing ambience and an atmosphere of the bygone years enhanced
by the rich decoration in all 53 en suites. There are many game facilities.
The hotel is particularly renowned for its high quality culinary excellence.
In the main restaurant, Marble Hall, Peter Malcher serves well-prepared
traditional English cuisine but with French overtones. In each of the
5 dining rooms there are outstanding menus of good fresh cooking using
the finest local Kent produce and a rich wine list.
