Linthwaite House lies in delightful
gardens. It was built as a private residence in Edwardian times, and
gives the full Lakeland experience: attractive grounds, to wander round,
deep armchairs and open fires and a conservatory, bar and terrace overlooking
the lake and fells. The Restaurant and bedrooms re-create the colonial
"Raffles" Style. The Head chef is a member of Master Chefs
of Great Britain and uses the best local produce.
There are 26 bedrooms en-suite, all decorated in both contemporary and
traditional styles.
