A short ride away from the center of London, this cherished 15th-century pub has been very stylishly refitted, with blond wood floors, sleek cream walls, leather seating, moody lighting and modern fireplaces to complement the aged beams. Besides the downstairs bar and brasserie, there is an upstairs pool and cigar room with a more intimate bar. The menu is a modern adaptation of classic British and other European classics.
